Ardent Gardeners are now taking pre orders for Fall 2024 shipping.  

Chocolate Persimmon trees are an Asian variety that is grafted on to native Persimmon stock.    This Persimmon is astringent and grows in full sun from zones 7 to 10.  They are ready to begin shipping in September.  They have unusual brown to chocolate colored flesh.  They are sweet and sorta spicy in taste.  It is a very unique variety of persimmon introduced by Japanese farmers to California more than 100 years ago.  

These are grown in tree bands that are 4" x 4" x 10" with potting soil.  We DO NOT SHIP BARE ROOT TREES!  Bare root trees seem to not do as well so we go the extra mile to ship trees growing in soil and roots!

This is our most limited variety so once orders are filled we will take them down from the site.  We will start to ship in September or sooner if they are ready.
